The Linschoten estate with 14 monumental farm houses (amongst others the Adrianahoeve, Louisehoeve, Wulverhorst, Hofstede Virtus Vincit), the main house dated 1637, 14 acres of land and it’s forest park is the largest contiguous esate in the Randstad (densly populated part of the country). The management of the estate has been in the hands of the Linschoten Estate Foundation since 1969 who control it together with 3 permanent employees and land agent office LBP Sight. The Linschoten Estate Foundation organizes concerts, excursions and open days where residents and visitors are welcome to experience the estate from the inside.
The main house has been uninhabited for over a hundred years. In the forest park there is peace and quite for birds and other animals. There are multiple moments to experience the Linschoten estate like the monthly guided walks through the forrest park. During some Open Monument days both the forrest park and the main house are open for visiting. Also many bike and walking trails have been set out.
Two weekends every year, in spring and autumn the foundation organizes classical concerts in the big hall of the main house. It really comes to life as dusk falls and you walk down the torch lighted drive looking back at a special experience.
